Yamaha F150
Hi All, My Yamaha F150 outboard won't start following winter storage. The starting motor kicks in when the key is turned however there seems to be no spark.
I took the boat to my dealer and he suspected the high pressure fuel pump was broken. However the pump was removed and tested on the bench by hooking it up to a battery and it worked.
It doesn't work when put back into the engine. We then looked at the ecu and checked power supply to the high pressure pump the wiring was fine.
It was concluded that the ecu was at fault. I secured an alternative ecu which I had hoped would see my problem solved. However sadly this is not the case.
We checked and replaced all the fuses.
I would be very grateful for any ideas to help to get my engine up and running.
Thanks
Mark
