I have a sold alarm when I started the motor. I did the following trouble shooting. Check to make sure the kill switch as on right. Tried to crank the engine alarm went off and the motor cranked and would go in gear. Next check the oil and the oil level was 2/3 full. Make sure the water pump was working. End up taking it to the shop and he said it was the kill switch not being in good. But here is where I have a problem if the kill switch was in in place good why would the engine crank and go into gear? Any help on what might be the cause or can the engine still start and run with the kill swithc not being engaged good?
