Engine quit at idle won’t crank back up bulb won’t pump up. It will attempt to fire after sitting awhile but not crank

Hi,
just confused, motor will fire but won't crank? How come? First is in order to fire is cranking but it won't therefore no fire up, not sure what you are saying, trying to help...
