The boat is a 1983 scorpian, 17ft, OMC 3.8 motor. I get a lot of water in the gas tank. The bilge is dry and the tank is built in the floor, aluminum. Condensation is not a factor because even on a full tank I get water. I'm wondering if the fuel pump could have a leak. The water jacket thought the engine seems ok. No water is getting into the oil. I have no idea where this water could be coming from. At one point I pumped out 15 gal. of gas and got about 3 gal. of water with it. The only way for water to come in would be the cooling system.
