I only seem to get half the rpms out of the engine my max speed with a light 12' fiberglass boat is 8km/hr 2.5hps with much more weight are keeping up or passing me. I have checked compression 105psi in both cylinders, plugs are new and gapped 0.032", seems to be good spark coming from both wires, new fuel and mixed a little heavy in oil (75:1), all new fuel lines (tank to engine and internal lines (I went back and replaced the blue line in the pic with proper fuel line. I've cleaned the carb a couple times but still no change in thrust. Seems to have a good stream of water coming out of the engine, prop is clear of debris, and in decent shape (Edges are a little rough but not bent or too bad)
the only thing I know is damaged is the screw (Adjuster) at the bottom of the float on the carb. Its missing the spring and the screw is bent. I thought it was a drain screw but maybe its more? I'm at a loss at this point and could use some guidance.
Thanks
Bob
