i have a 1987 bass buggy pontoon boat with a 1987 or 1989 mercury 35hp,two stroke outboard motor. it has a miss. it starts fine but will not idle.it is a two cylinder with two coils. i have spark at both plug wires. i have to use the fast idle lever to keep it running,but it will not idle with the fast idle lever disingaged. what could be the problem? i am new in the outboard scene and have limited knowledge. ive had one shop work on it but all they done was rebuild the carb.and gave it back to me with the same problem i was already having.
