Mercury 50HP 4 cycle outboard 2020

The last 2 times at the lake after it had ran for awhile and at high speed, the motor would die. After I would restart the motor it would run for about 30-45 seconds before it would die again. IF I stayed back by the motor and continuelly squeezed the primer bulb I could keep it going. While squeezing the bulb I noticed the bulb would "empty" out like it was starving for fuel.I removed the fuel demand valve ( which I always thought was in place "just in case of sinking") and that didnt help as well. It just seems like not enough fuel is going through the line from the primer bulb to the motor-

Fuel problem
by: Terry Baughan

Best bet would be fuel pump not working. Also maybe a fuel line that is clogged up.
