Here is the problem I ran into after putting the boat in the water and started the engine using the pull start. Got to our fishing spot Put it in neutral and using the on of switch shut the engine down. Flipped the switch to start but when I tried to pull start it seem to lock the rope. So I am thinking it’s not going into neutral to let me start. Rocked from neutral to forward back to neutral to reverse back to to neutral several times before I could get it started. Maybe we could put a electric start on it.

Just trying to figure out what to do. Don’t want to get stranded.
