Mercury 2009 90HP EFI 4 stroke

Just bought a used boat with a 90HP EFI 4 stroke motor. I started familiarizing myself with the motor and have identified I need to replace the air filter. Foam piece is disintegrating. My question is can I just purchase a replacement foam piece or do I need to replace the entire housing. If just the foam piece where can i buy it from? I found the entire housing online and its $85(ouch).
