hi i have a 1996 Mercury 150hp Xl offshore motor....my problem is that when i start my motor the oil warning beeps untill i rev the engine, once i stop reving the engine the beeping starts again...i have no clue what this could be does anyone have any sugesstions??? thank you for your time

This sounds like an oil pressure pump problem, rev the engine and pressure goes up and vice versa (also low oil levels)so look at that first. Second problem is maybe oil alarm pressure switch faulty but check teh pressure first
