I have had 2 driveshafts break since I bought the boat 2 years ago, brand new thru a dealer. Mercury has replaced both of them, but will not extend warranty or replace engine.(I called Mercury Help support) As the lower unit and drive shaft apparently come in 1 piece, they have replaced this both times. Mechanic at dealership indicated they could find nothing I did wrong driving or on maintenance.
I think there must be something else that could be causing this, alignment something...
Anybody have ideas?
Anyway, very put out with Mercury at this point. I bought a lund impact 2018 with this merc 150 and has been in the shop 5 times for warrantly work! :(
