Engine normally runs at 4900rpms. Currently it will only run 4200rpms. After running for a few minutes the engine will start to miss and slow chug down to idle. If i bring the throttle back down to idle for a few minutes it runs good, go to wide open throttle and it runs at 4200 rpms for a few minutes then misses and chugs back to idle again. The engine currently will not get up on plane like it should either, very sluggish out the hole.
I have done the following; new fuel pickup at the tank, new fuel line and filters from the tank to the carbs, new primer bulb, new coils, new spark plugs, checked for bad/loose wiring, mutiple new tanks of fuel, rebuilt fuel pump.
The first time the missing started it was after almost a full tank of gas, now it does it within 5 minutes of leaving the landing. Twice since this started a month ago the engine went up to 4900rpms very briefly before missing and chugging back to idle.
