Mercruiser 170 Inboard/Outboard - Boat Problem

Have a Mercruiser 170 Inboard/Outboard. Runs great for 30 to 45 minutes, decides to stall out and wont start for an hour.

Did not appearfrom the gauges to be overheated and when I took the coolant cap off, there was not much pressure or any excessive heat there.

This same scenario has happened twice. Luckily, I have had great people help with towing me in. I will typically try to start every five minutes while being towed. Both times, the engine starts right back up when nearing the marina. At that point, I am too scared to take it back out.

Any suggestions?
