Johnson 60hp Can't get started after a complete overhaul

Took boat to shop in March for an overhaul. It will start at shop but when we get it on lake it won't start. Take it back and the guy replaces something that he should have done with overhaul to begin with. We have had it back to him 4 times. It is not getting a spark. Last week he changed the spark plug and told us to carry 6to 8 with us because it eats them. So, why would this 15 year old Johnson 60hp motor eat spark plugs? Does this type of motor have a fuse in it? What could be the problem .

I really really doubt it is your plugs, very seldom its the plugs, or there is something that they did or didn't do that would cause the plugs to burn out. Tell him to get it fixed or you want your money back and tell him bullshit if he says its the plugs doing it.
