My name is Carl and I have a 2003 mercury 115 4 stroke efi, when backing off on throttle to quickly from a cruising speed motor will either stall or kick out 2 cylinders. I can prevent this from happening by backing off on throttle really slow. I also found that when backing off slow there is a 2 or 3 second delay in throttle response. If it stalls I can start it back up right away like it doesn't have an issue?
