I recently bought a 97 Seaswirl Stripper cuddy. The Live well is not working. I checked the wiring to the pump and it all looks good. I check behind the dash panel and there are some loose wires. I am assuming that this is the wiring for the water pump to live well. I don't know anything at all about boat wiring and I'm afraid I might start a fire. Can you give some info on how to get the wires back to the right locations to get my live well up and running?
Thanks
JEff

We just bought a 1997 Lund Pro V. The live well pump switch just blows fuses. Where is the pump located so we can trace the problem.

The pump for the livewell in our 1995 Starcraft does not shut off. Have replaced the switch and still keeps running. It only stops when battery cable is taken off. Any suggestions?

Just bought a 2000 Crestliner 1700 superhawk,It has 2 wells. The switch for the live wells has 3 positions which are live well, ACC and Both Wells. Regardless when I have the switch in either live well or both well position, Both of the wells fill up. Any advise on only getting one well to fill? Also, does any one know if the ACC position has a purpose? I do not see any thing happening when knob is on the ACC?

My Lund has the pumps for the two livewells up by my feet, in the center of the boat. { 10 feet from the transom pick-up ports}. Pumps were replaced last yeAR. RAN FINE THIS FIRST PART OF SUMMER, now the rear pump won't pick-up prime, even backing boat up for a 1/4mile. Could I squeese a pump into the pick-up hose at the transom to feed the main pump, and run a second ckt,and switch for this? or would I not have any draining action from the livewell seeing as I'd be running it through a second pump?
Any help would be GREATLY apperciated!,,, Neddly

I recently had a live well pump replaced on my bluewave. The PROBLEM is, I have to run the bilge pump and the live wells at the same time because the boat fills up with water if i don't. What should i look for? A crack somewhere? Thanks in advance
Answer
Yes as it sounds like a leak to the bilge from either well or a pipe or hose connection

Just bought a 2007 Glastron Fish/Ski. Problem is the live well isn't working. First thing is there is no plug. Can someone tell me the plug size I need? Second, when I flip the aerator switch on the bow panel I get nothing. The switch doesn't even light up. The trolling motor runs so I don't think it's a battery issue. Any common problems I should look into?

I have a 1995 StarCraft 190 fishing boat and the front livewell leaks while filling. It leaks possibly thru a hose as the floor becomes wet while filling the livewell. I can not find the way to check the livewell lines. Please pass along any info or suggestions.

I am trying to get the stern livewell functioning on a 1996 lund 1890 pro-v. There is a hose disconnected that appears to be the fresh water supply. Looks as if it ran up through the bottom of the tank judgeing by the length of it. What else should be there if anything. A simple drawing would be of great help.
Thanks. Mark

Hello,
I have a 2002 Chris-Craft 410 that i recently purchased from a friend. However the live-well works for the first few minutes upon starting and then cuts out. It appears as though the hose disconnects or comes undone by itself. Is there a special adhesive I could use or clamp maybe that would fix this problem without having to undergo major repairs?
Thank you
-Joe

I own a 94 lund 1775 Pro V tiller steer and can't seem to get the front livewell to fill with water from the pump. I've replaced the pump with a new 750gph pump from the 500gph one that was on it and only have improved slightly to a trickle of water. Any suggestions?

hi i have a 95 15ft larson boat that i got for cheap from a family member. i only use it for fishing. its not a great fishing boat but is floats so it works. i do not have a live well and i was wondering if anyone makes some kind of conversion kit to put a livewell in the compartment in the floor of the boat for skis. i dont have skis nor do i ski so it would be a perfect spot for a livewell instead of using those cooler livewells since i dont have much space for one of them.

Lund Gran Sport/Tyee 2002 19.5' ... both livewells not operational
First time out on the water this year. With the first walleye caught, placed in back livewell. Attempted to fill livewell with no luck by flipping the valve to fil/empty and turning the switch to auto/manual. Tried the front livewell and it worked fine. Solved by immediate problem for the day.
Went out the second day, same results, back not working, front working.
On the third day, the front failed to run water. Same perceived issued as back. Again, tried to move switches/valve settings with no luck.
Did check fuses for both and checked out okay.
I'm at a loss on what to next. Would like to resolve on my own versus bringing the boat to a marine dealership and wait 2-3 weeks for repairs.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i am turning my boat into a bass boat and i need a live well to put in the new floor. i have searched all over and all i can find are the stupid ones that you have to put the hose over the side of the boat to fill it up. i want one like what would come in fishing boats from factory so all i have to do is flip a toggle switch and it pumps in water and pumps water out. does any one know where i can find this.
