Engine will only start in fwd or reverse with full throttle new rings plugs seals water pump compression good all new gasket and have the shop manual carb has been Rebuilt no leaks new check valve cant figure it out any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, so much work done on it, well there must be something more to it. Does a choke work? Can you see how it work? I remember what I did on my dirt bike, close air intake with my hand, basically that a choke. And try to start, You can open throttle just a bit. Also how come motor starts with a gear engaged? if this is normal than in neutral your swath is cutting off ignition, locate it and see how it connects,
