6 HP Yamaha starts, runs for 30 seconds, then shuts down

My 3 year old 6 HP Yamaha with low hours starts, runs for 30 seconds, then shuts down. Doesn't sputter, just shuts down. Vent screw on external gas tank is open. Good stream. Thanks in advance…….
