When I go to cruise at max RPM/Full throttle it sounds like the motor is making a subtle "backfiring noise." If I wanted to stay at full RPMs I could, but I typically edge down the throttle to a point where I'm probably around 85-90% max RPMs and the noise goes away. At first I though it might have been a cavitation problem with the prop so I played with the pitch of the motor which didn't solve the problem.
