2006 mercury 15hp 4 stroke - Idles fine and stalls at accel

I am troubleshooting a new to me 2006 Merc 15hp:it had an accel pump housing leak and I fixed that and changed the diaphragm that was too stiff. Then motor was starting but only ran with choke or partial choke and did not idle. I cleaned the carb twice, second time in an ultrasonic cleaner. Now the motor idles nicely but stalls on accel. I thought main jet was clean when I last put it back together, not sure where to look now: any idea or suggestion? Many thanks - Remy
