2006 Honda 150

Took boat our for swimming Wed. When I restarted (took 2 tries) I was underway and when I tried to adjust trim the warning beep sounded and the engine shut down. Checked for obstructions and adjusted tilt, then restarted with no problem. When I again tried to adjust trim, same pattern-warning beep, shut down. Today I went to start and I just here a beep, then clicking but no start up. Trim works fine. What could be the problem?
