original complaint- engine mis-fire. found # 3 coil terminals melted and overheated. Replaced all coils. still had problem. at this time found at idle and low speed voltage tested at the starter solenoid to be very erratic jumping from 2v to 20 v and in between. Replaced v-reg. same thing. took it to another shop. they replaced reg again helped that day. now back to original problem- low speed mis-fire , very erratic voltage 2v to 19v , very hot stator wires, connectors melted ) reg to stator. yellow wires. Need help before spending more money ! jim
