my name is dennis I live in Colorado I have a 1997 cobra corel fish n ski boat 21 ft 225 EFI they say it Is a race motor but not sure. I have a 24 pitch trophy on it when I take off it lags bad it gets to 1600 rpms about 3-4 seconds then it 10-15seconds toto reach about 3000-3200 then the power kicks in to get on plane. I have tried low pitch props and can not get on plane I just tried a rev 4 21 pitch it got to 1600 rpms and it stayed at 1600 it would not gain any more. uncled68@msn.com
