1993 omc 115 outboard

my name is james,we just bought a boat with the 1993 omc 115 on the back, i rebuilt both carbrators changed the plugs and changed out all four corals but engine stll bogging down when i give it gas...any suggestens please?? jamesritchie59@yahoo.com

I have a 1990 115 hp Johnson and had so much trouble with the oil injection that I removed it and started pre mixing oil and fuel. I installed a small 12volt electric pump near the fuel supply. Wired the pump to ignition switch and turned it on and looked for leaks. Sure enough, the connector at the base of the engine cowling was leaking. Replaced the supply connection and the boat runs super. A leaking connection can cause your problem too.

Bogging down

Check your clamps that are on your gas lines or VRO pump . I had the same problem with my OMC 110. The black plastic clamps were dry rotted and cracking therefore letting it pull air in when I opened the throttle up
