1987 Ranger with Mariner 200hp

Boat runs fine and like a rocket. but not for long... every time I run it wide open a solid buzzer goes off. I slow down and it stops, but the problem is whenever I go above 4900 RPMs it does this. I've replaced the fuel lines and water pump, still does it. any idea why? I really need it fixed because I only go 40 mph at 4900 rms but I hit 68mph wide open before, I would like to be able to cruise at wide open like a boat should. anything helps, thanks!
