1987 225 Johnson 2stroke 6 cyl

Only starts if I spray the carbs, after that it run good the rest of the day, next day won’t start unless I spray again

had the same problem with a 89 model 70 hp. drove me crazy. cleaned carbs and fixed problem. only problem now is don't pump ball up with motor tilted up and don't try to start tilted. also, hold key in for 25/30 seconds to choke. these old engines are destroy proof LOL
