Hello, I have a Suzuki with a cold start issue. It has a long crank and after a few tries will start. Once it is running it sounds great. The plugs and fuel filters along with the low pressure pump and fuel lines have been replaced. The plugs were a little dark but it is a work motor and idles a lot. The thermostat is getting up to temperature and the idle is around 500-700 RPM. When the engine does start it lets out a puff of blue smoke just that once. the engine has about 1800 to 2000 hours. We have never had any motor troubled before this. I do not have the computer software to plug in and see what is doing on. The lights in the factory gauge are all out. My next step would be a compression test and fuel pressure tests. But like a said once it starts the engine runs great. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you for your help.
