Overheat sensor is sounding. I recently had my boat pulled on shore at a nearby lake. The motor was trimmed down and during the night a major storm came through. The rear gas tank and battery compartment filled with water and there was a ton of mud in the prop area. I was able to get everything dried out and the mud cleaned away. I took the boat to the lake this weekend to check everything. Motor ran fine for about 15 minutes then bogged down and the overheat sensor went offf.
I have done a static flush, changed the thermostat, and blew out the water supply lines going into the head. The motor now will not crank fully and the alarm goes off immediately .
Any ideas of my issue?
