When I go to trim the motors completely up and out of the water after boating they stop short of clearing the water by about a foot. Both sets of blades are completely submerged and the bottom 1.5'-2' of the motor is still in the water. This is on a new 2020 Four Winns H290 OB w/ 15 hours on the motors. I'm not sure if this is standard and just how it's supposed to be or if I'm doing something wrong. Obviously I trimmed them both up as far as they would go and they stop at this same point each time. I looked for any override switch and even the trim buttons on the sides of the motors themselves but nothing.
If anyone knows if this is just how it is that would be helpful or if you know how to fix this.
Thanks in advance.
