Yamaha 50 T50lb 2014

When the motor runs a low RPM, in gear, it run extremely rough. Almost like I dropped a cylinder. The motor has run rough like this since new. Brought it back every year since to the dealership and they change the plugs and say I need to open it open at the throttle more often and not idle so much. When the motor is in neutral it runs fairly smooth it’s only in gear at low rpm. A coworker said some motors drop a cylinder at idle to save fuel. I find that very hard to believe. I’m thinking coil pack or injectors. Thx.
