yamaha 25 2 stroke just clicks when I hit electric start?

Just bought the boat, electric start was working awesome then suddenly quit. Pull start works. If I spin the top of the starter it will try to start but acts like it still Gets hung up. I've lubricated it well and still desperate for answers lol
