I just added a second motor to my boat. Apparently the mechanic placed my counter rotating props on backwards because forward throttle made the go backward. Reverse throttle moved her forward.
Stern is standard Rotation Port is Counter rotation.
I had to move the vessel to another location, and the trailer had left. The batteries were fully charged. I figured, drive the boat 5 miles shifted in reverse as this made the engine move forward. Once I got underway, both engines bogged down. One turned off and I switched the other one off after about 500 yards.
Both ignitions were without power after that. Not even the cowling trim switch would work. Both motors had their own gauges, and new charged battery. No fuses are blown that I have been able to locate.
Its like the outboards have no battery at all
