volvo penta, 5.0, GXI b, 2002

Skip above 4500 rpm. Redline is 5000. So far I have replaced electronic fuel pump, plugs, wires and new fuel injectors. Local deal said it was the distributor, $1000 later replaced, same problem. Boat starts and runs perfect until it reachs 4500 rpm, then it intermittant skip, like a rev limiter (?). I also replaced the knock sensor. Finally, I ran the fuel hose to a separate gas tank to eliminate any issues in the tank. Any advice? I live in southern VT and there is no clear choice on a dealer that understands volvo penta. Thanks for any advice
