I have a 225 wellcraft 1981 I took and put in water today. I go to start engine and fires up but when I release the key to run position the motor shuts off. It's a three prong ignition. I have found a red jumper wire about 12" long not sure if that may have comfortable off while doing some wiring. Any one have any suggestion ronbev69@gmail.com is my email. Please help
