Engine stopped suddenly last year. I replaced the ignition module with a brand new unit.
Engine died again today, at exactly the same place in my family trip, 15 minutes in!
I'm almost certain that it's the ignition module again, as both times the engine suddenly cutout, at about 5,800 RPM. It's never done anything like this, except these two instances.
What could cause this? Is there some electric module that is overloading or shorting out the ignition module?
Any ideas would be sincerely welcome (I would rather not have to replace the entire engine).
Thanks much!
