Just got this motor from a dealer and putting it on my boat I have everything done but the initial set up wiring to the tachometer and remote control (I have the main harness installed however). I live on the Yukon River and cannot bring the motor/boat to the dealer and after many days I cannot get help necessary to figure out how to hook the wiring harnesses together between the Tack and engine compartment and remote control box I need a simple diagram or instructions.
My tack has only a 4 pin connector on the back. My remote control has the main harness which I connected fine and two bundles of wires I have no idea where they go. I was sent a two fuse gauge harness (6Y5-83553-N1-00) that they say needs to go to the Tack but tack doesn't have any connections except for the 4 pin plug in. This is my 4th day of working on just these few wires. Help, Stan Z.
