The other day I noticed that my outboard 2017 Suzuki DF115 was trimmed all the way up. (The boat is trailered in my driveway, and I had it in the water last weekend, it operated with no issues.
I always leave the engine trimmed all the way down.)
I trimmed the engine back to the down position; later in the day I noticed that the engine was trimmed all the way up again. I started to trim it back down and the trim motor would not stop when I released the trim button on the motor. I attempted to stop it with the trim switch on the throttle, that didn’t work. I finally disconnected the battery. Can anyone offer me some advice on how to handle this situation? What might be causing it to happen?
