2008 Mercury 50HP EFI 4 stroke

Hi my name is Clint for Ontario Canada
Just bought this boat 2 weeks ago, everything is in good shape.
The other night i was fishing and had been trolling for about an hour. When I went to head home the motor would only rev to around 4000 rpm and had no power.
The next day i went out and checked the fuel lines and took the filter off to look( did not see any dirt ). took the boat out and work perfect. Later that day went out cruising no issues.
Went fishing later, motor idled a little rough, trolled for half hour . no power going home.
Could one of carburetors be gummed up?
