I believe I have traced down a problem my Can bus not communicating to a bad DTS command module. The suspected bad module is an 8M0031080 ver 75. The Mercury parts system says that this has been superceded to an 8M0036691 which is no longer available. The other engine has an 8M0101651 which are readily available.
Can anyone advise me on the differences in versions? Also is there any special considerations to replacing the module or is plug and play.
