Ignition Miss fire underload starting around 2800 rpm Not a fuel problem. Acts almost like a rev limiter. Have replaced plugs, wires, coils, CDI box and voltage regulator. The warning alarm will not sound not sure if this has some to do with it. The pink wire Coming from the CDI box that grounds the alarm Will not provide a ground Have tried grounding the oil pressure switch still no alarm/ground. if I provide a ground to the pink wire the alarm sounds. This has me and my local Mercury dealer stumped.
