2000 90hp mariner alarm sounds off when tilted down then stops when on plane and motor is trimmed up?

2000 90hp Mariner 2 stroke oil injected. The alarm goes off (steady) when tilted down (in take off position). When tilted up after boat planes off the alarm goes off????
