1989-92 48 spl

1983 Lund 16d

I had a 1983 35 hp 2 stroke on my 1983 Lund 16d pike with steering console and choke on the throttle. No power trim or tilt. It seized up but I found an old 1989 48 spl set up the same way. With steering column and as far as I can tell it should use the same linkage throttle and choke but I’m no mechanic or expert. If I was I wouldn’t have seized up the first one. Can anyone give me any expertise on the compatibility.
