1988 evinrude v6 150 hp

I have a 1988 evinrude v6 150hp and the water wasn't circulating out of the motor just put new water pump on and still no water coming out . I suck a water hose where the water would come out and made sure the line was clear.. any suggestions on what else it could be or what I can do ?

No water circulating in Motor

The heads on your motor heaven inlet and outlet hose just disconnect them and pour water inside the inlet hose which will be on top of the head. Pour some water inside the inlet hose and if it does not run out the bottom the channels in your head are plugged up.
Unbolt the head and take a brush and clean out the channels.

So figured out what was wrong .there were 2 spark plug wires that were switched which suprised me that it still ran smooth so if anyone having this issue it might be the spark plug wires!!
