1971 evinrude 40hp electric start

pulled fly wheel and replaced points and condensors.thats all.put fly wheel back on and it grabs something and stops turning when the plug wires stretch as far as they can thisi happens immediately after i get 1 0r 2 turns on fly wheel nut so it is not any where near being all they down.i cannot figure out what it is that fly wheel is hitting .have had it of and on multiple times
